Ramen – 3D Character Animation & Game Integration

AUTODESK MAYA, SUBSTANCE PAINTER, UNREAL ENGINE

An individual project completed as part of the Animation and Game Texture Design unit at Curtin University. Starting from an approved base mesh, the project involved designing and animating a culturally inspired original character named Ramen, a Japanese teenage martial artist, through a full game asset production pipeline. The work spanned retopology, UV unwrapping, PBR texturing, character rigging, skinning, animation, and final game animation workflow development in Unreal Engine 5.
