Sunset Journey is a 2D motion design piece developed for the panoramic digital display at Yagan Square in Perth. Inspired by Western Australian landscapes and everyday train travel, the animation follows a journey through warm, stylised sunset environments.

Designed for a large-format cylindrical screen, the project required careful consideration of composition, pacing and continuous visual flow. I created the illustrated assets in Adobe Illustrator and animated the final sequence in Adobe After Effects, using layered movement, seamless transitions and a cohesive colour palette to guide the viewer through the journey.
